Mobile Makerspace Facilitator (2 positions)

The Mobile Makerspace Facilitator supports the delivery of hands-on STEAM programming for Indigenous youth and communities across New Brunswick. This role focuses on facilitating workshops, supporting learners, and assisting with the delivery of culturally grounded technology programming through the Mobile Makerspace. Working as part of the Mobile Makerspace team, the Facilitator will deliver engaging learning experiences in areas such as digital fabrication, design, electronics, and emerging technologies while supporting a positive, culturally safe learning environment.

Communications Officer

Technology and Equipment Coordinator/Instructor

The Technology and Equipment Coordinator/Instructor is responsible for the technical setup, maintenance, and operational readiness of the Mobile Makerspace program. This role ensures that all fabrication equipment, digital tools, and technology systems are properly configured, maintained, and ready for program delivery across Indigenous communities in New Brunswick. The position plays a key role in configuring the Mobile Makerspace trailer for safe and efficient equipment use, maintaining accurate inventory and asset tracking systems, and developing operational manuals and technical guides for staff and participants. The role also supports the lifecycle management of technology equipment and ensures safety protocols and operational standards are consistently followed.

Curriculum and Education Coordinator

The Curriculum and Education Coordinator is responsible for designing, coordinating, and supporting high-quality, culturally grounded educational programming for JEDI’s Mobile Makerspace. This role ensures the curriculum is engaging, accessible, and aligned with youth focused, community-based learning goals while supporting facilitators with the tools, training, and documentation they need to deliver programming confidently and safely.

Reconciliation Training Facilitators Casual Contract Positions

JEDI provides three reconciliation trainings to the public: Indigenous Reconciliation Awareness Module (IRAM), Indigenous Anti-Racism Module (IARM), and Two-eyed Seeing Module (TESM). The positions will operate on a contract, as-needed basis matching the availability of Reconciliation Training Facilitators to the scheduled delivery dates.
