Reconciliation Report
JEDI’s Reconciliation report aims to answer the question “How do we apply the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s Calls to Action in New Brunswick’s public and private sectors?”
This report is a synopsis of an event that discussed the shared history of Indigenous Peoples in New Brunswick which included facilitated discussions relating to economic development and workforce development. Common themes that emerged were continuous education, building welcoming workplaces, and meaningful engagement.
Although this event was held in 2017, the opportunities and challenges still remain today. The report includes several recommendations that will help your organization move towards workplace reconciliation.
