The Atlantic Indigenous Procurement Connector is a new event scheduled for early 2025 that brings together Indigenous entrepreneurs, Indigenous economic development organizations, industry, and government resources. The two-day event will focus on establishing and strengthening connections among these groups to build Indigenous entrepreneurial capacity in Atlantic Canada by:
Inspiring Indigenous entrepreneurs and businesses to contract with the Government of Canada through storytelling of successes of those who have utilized procurement opportunities to start or grow a business
Empowering Indigenous entrepreneurs by delivering key information about the procurement landscape and how to navigate it
Providing a platform that supports linking existing entrepreneurial capacity to private-sector suppliers and the Government of Canada who are seeking Indigenous participation
Collecting feedback and engaging the entrepreneurs in discussion surrounding the barriers that are preventing them from participating
Delivering information and tools that build capacity for Indigenous entrepreneurs, businesses, and communities
Who should register:
Atlantic-based Indigenous entrepreneurs
Indigenous Economic Development organizations
Private sector suppliers
Atlantic-based Economic Development Officers (EDOs)
Representation from relevant Government departments and agencies
There is no registration or accommodation cost to attend for the Atlantic Indigenous Entrepreneurs, Economic Development organizations or Economic Development Officers.
There is a fee of $250 plus tax for anyone beyond this list.

Travel Information:
All delegates are responsible for making their own travel and accommodation arrangements.
Travel costs will be reimbursed for limited amount of pre-approved Indigenous business/entrepreneur delegates.
Accommodations:
All delegates are responsible for making their own travel and accommodation arrangements. The accommodation is covered for the Indigenous EDOs, ED organizations and Indigenous business/ entrepreneurs. All the accommodations must be booked with The Delta Moncton. Guest rooms for up to three (3) nights per will be covered for by the master bill. Additional room charges as well as incidental charges must be paid directly by the delegates. Please note, you will be required to guarantee your reservation with one night’s pre-paid room & tax or with a major credit card.
