JEDI is currently recruiting for 2 training courses coming up in early 2017: Software Tester Training and Mobile Application Development.

These 2 courses are the perfect way to learn more about computer programming and to get your start in the technology industry. Each course has employers waiting to hire our successful graduates. Several of our graduates, from these programs, are now working at PLATO Testing as Software Testers and IBM as Information Technology Specialists.

 

 

Software Testing:

In partnership with the College communautaire du Nouveau Brunswick, PQA Testing and PLATO Testing, JEDI is now accepting applications for Software Tester training taking place in Miramichi, NB in early 2017. This course consists of 4 months of classroom training and 2 months of on-the-job training.

If you are naturally curious and a critical thinker this could be the training for you. Software testing is a process of executing a computer program or application with the intent of finding the software bugs. Each potential candidate for this training should have logic and problem-solving skills, the ability to communicate, a basic understanding of computers, and a willingness to learn. If you have all of this, are over the age of 18, and of Indigenous descent, apply to Jason Tozer at Jason.tozer@jedinb.ca with your resume and a copy of your grade 12 or GED. Mobile Application Development:

In partnership with the College communautaire du Nouveau Brunswick, JEDI is now accepting applications for Mobile Application Developer training taking place in Fredericton, NB in early 2017.

Are you a logical thinker and like to do things one step at a time? Can you come up with ways to make things work better or be more efficient? This 57-week accredited program teaches current computer programming languages and specializes in the development of apps for mobile devices. Potential candidates for this training should love learning, have problem-solving, organizational and planning skills, as well as, a basic understanding of computers.
