Project Makerspace: A Wabanaki Naming Gathering

The Ulnooweg Education Centre, JEDI, and The McKenna Institute invite elders, knowledge keepers, and language carriers to join us for a meaningful gathering as part of Project Makerspace—an initiative to empower Indigenous youth in the Atlantic region through hands-on STEAM education.

We’re seeking your wisdom to help us name the mobile makerspace that will bring innovative and engaging learning opportunities to Indigenous communities.

Your guidance will ensure the name reflects the rich culture, traditions, and values of our communities. For those who are eligible, honorariums, meals, and accommodations can be provided upon request.
