Pow Wows are a great way of experiencing cultural pride; experiencing the power and healing of the drums and seeing the dancers dressed in their full regalia, renewing old friendships, making new ones, or joining in, dancing, singing, and making memories. Pow Wows are free to attend and open to everyone.
With the New Brunswick Pow Wow trail soon starting, JEDI is very excited to announce that the RBC Royal Eagles will once again be sponsoring prizes for JEDI’s Pow Wow Photo Contests.
The 2016 Pow Wow season begins in St. Mary’s First Nation in June and travels throughout many First Nation communities in New Brunswick to finish up the season in Kingsclear First Nation in September.
For each Pow Wow, JEDI will have a photo contest where you can submit your Pow Wow photos or short videos to JEDI's Facebook page or to contests@jedinb.ca. Once our fans pick a favorite, we will award the person who submitted the winning photo or video a $50 gift card for a local business establishment.
At the end of the Pow Wow trail, JEDI & RBC Royal Eagles will award a grand prize package, worth $500, to one of the submissions for any of the 10 contests. For more information on the contest visit JEDI Pow Wow Photo Contest. More details on the grand prize package will be announced soon.
JEDI would like to thank RBC Royal Eagles for being a sponsor of JEDI's Pow Wow photo contests! RBC is an avid supporter of JEDI, Aboriginal people and Aboriginal organizations across Canada.
