Announcing the Photo Contest Grand Prize Worth Over $500

JEDI is pleased to announce the Grand Prize, valued at over $500, for the 2016 JEDI Pow Wow photo contest.

This year’s grand prize features a Native Mask Carving done by Artist Cyril Sacobie of Kingsclear First Nation, a Protocol Dronium One Quadcopter Drone Ready-to-Fly which includes a camera and controller, a $75 Wolastoq Wharf Gift Card, a Beaded Dream Catcher from Melissa Sappier, Skyden Creations of Woodstock First Nation, and two Prints by Artists Pauline Young and Philip Young from Metepenagiag.

The RBC Royal Eagles, a proud supporter of JEDI and the New Brunswick Aboriginal Community, generously provided the funds to purchase the prize package. The RBC Royal Eagles are an Employee Resource group that is made up of both Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal employees who work collaboratively to support and bring awareness for Aboriginal culture throughout the RBC organization.

Community Pow Wows are a fantastic way to share Aboriginal culture with Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal people alike. All of the Pow Wows in New Brunswick are open to everyone. JEDI is happy to have seen so many colourful and exciting pictures submitted by you from the 2016 Pow Wows but it’s not over yet...

There are still 2 Pow Wows left in New Brunswick: Elsipogtog and Kingsclear. That means that you have 2 more chances to submit Pow Wow photos to win $50 gift cards!

In addition, those entries will also put your name in for the Grand Prize package! Each entry from all of the 10 contests is eligible to win the $500 GRAND PRIZE so anyone who enters any of the individual photo contests has a chance to win BIG! Good luck to all of those who have entered so far and be sure to send us more pictures for more entries before it’s too late.
