TD bank is coming to Greater Moncton… with that comes opportunities for employment!

TD bank will be hiring approximately 1,000 people for a January 2019 opening. The positions to be filled are in the Financial Operations (FinOps) and North American Phone Channel sectors.

The Financial Operations positions will require an undergraduate degree or college diploma, a specialty in accounting is an asset. Experience needed will vary as they will be hiring junior, intermediate, senior and management positions. The primary language for these positions will be English, although bilingualism is an asset.

Tasks will include:

  • Prepare, calculate, post, review, and approve entries
  • Perform dividend elimination
  • Consolidate and eliminate entries
  • ·Calculate equity pick up
  • Tax reports, filing, compliance, and transfer pricing
  • Profit close-out
  • Bank account reconciliations
  • Reconciliation of GL accounts

Hiring in the FinOps department will happen in cohorts. Cohorts will consist of approximately 50 people each and there will be 5 cohorts. Training for cohort 1 will commence in January 2019 and the subsequent cohorts will begin training every 2 months until September 2019.

The North American Phone Channel positions will require post-secondary education or equivalent experience. One year of customer service experience is desired for these roles. Additional skills include strong communication and listening skills, technology experience and the ability to multitask and embrace a fast paced environment. These positions will be offered to both English and French speaking individuals.

  • Provide high quality service to incoming clients and addressing their concerns effectively
  • Identify all opportunities to retain and grow the business
  • New accounts
  • Visa products
  • Overdraft
  • Bill payment
  • Telephone/web support
  • Process general enquiries
