Two $1000 Bursaries for Indigenous Post-Secondary Students

JEDI and Brun-Way Highway Operations Inc. have joined forces to provide two $1000 bursaries to Indigenous post-secondary students in New Brunswick. Applications will be accepted from all students enrolled in any program offered by a post-secondary institution.


Eligibility Requirements:

  • Full time Indigenous student;

  • Proof of Indigenous status (status card);

  • Residing in New Brunswick;

  • Proof of studies at a post-secondary institution. (Preference may be given to those enrolled in University Degree programs);

  • In 500-1000 words, the applicant must write an essay illustrating their need, objectives, future goals and aspirations, their commitment to education, and their desire to help NB First Nations’ communities thrive;

  • A copy of the applicant’s resume.

Please submit your completed application along with essay, proof of studies, proof of Indigenous status and resume to the JEDI office by November 30th, 2019, ATTN: Riley Patles, riley.patles@jedinb.ca.
