The Rural Action and Voices for the Environment (RAVEN) project is excited to announce a cellphone music video contest!
The theme of the competition is “Moving NB to a Green Economy”. The top 5 videos will receive a prize of $1,000 each, will be hosted online on the NB Media Co-op website as well be featured in this year’s Earth Day celebrations.
The competition is a joint effort of: the UNB RAVEN project, the NB Film Co-op, the NB Media Co-op and the Joint Economic Development Initiative (JEDI).
Guidelines for the contest (taken from the RAVEN Facebook page):
One submission per person (must be a resident of New Brunswick)
Can be in English, French or Indigenous languages
Must be made using a cellphone
Must be a music video (original music and lyrics), stories can cover all genres and types: spoken word, rap, horror, dramatic, comedy themes, children, diversity welcome
Time limit: 2 minutes max, including opening title and credits
All ages welcome
The competition deadline is March 15, 2019 and winners will be announced by March 22nd.
