The Joint Economic Development Initiative (JEDI) is proud to announce the Cultural Revitalization Fund, made possible by the proceeds generated from the Indigenous Reconciliation Awareness Module (IRAM). JEDI’s IRAM program educates organizations on the history of Indigenous Peoples in Canada, by providing professional and interactive training programs that put an Indigenous lens at the forefront.
The Cultural Revitalization Fund will have a meaningful impact on Indigenous communities, recognizing the importance of cultural preservation and the healing process. Guided by a dedicated steering committee comprised of JEDI employees, local Wabanaki Elders, and residential school survivors, all committed to ensuring the success and meaningful impact of this initiative.
Key priorities for the Cultural Revitalization Fund include:
Indigenous Language Revitalization and Education
Elder and/or Youth-Led Initiatives
