ENTER TO WIN JEDI’S ESGENOOPETITJ (BURNT CHURCH) POW WOW PHOTO CONTEST

There are 2 more Pow Wow’s in New Brunswick this summer and Esgenoopetitj is hosting theirs this weekend, August 22 – 24th. If you are attending, JEDI wants you to share your Pow Wow photos with us!

Each photo submitted to JEDI’s 9th POW WOW PHOTO CONTEST will be entered to win a $25 gift card! JEDI has given away $200 in gift cards in our first 8 Photo Contests and you could be one of the next winners. 

In addition, in September, we will award a grand prize valued at $500 to one of the submissions from any of the 10 contests, so be sure to enter to win while you still can.

The Grand Prize includes a handmade basket made by local artist Katie Nicholas which contains a 7.9 inch ACER tablet with 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of memory, a gift certificate for $75 worth of Holistic services at Grandmother Bear Holistic Centre, and a $75 gift certificate for the Wolastoq Wharf in Fredericton. This basket and all of its contents have been donated by our sponsor, RBC, a proud supporter of JEDI and the New Brunswick Aboriginal community.


CONTEST DETAILS:

Starting on August 22nd, please submit your photos or short videos (max. of 2 minutes) of the Esgennnpetitj Pow Wow to JEDI at https://www.facebook.com/JEDINB or contests@jedinb.ca to be entered to win a $25 gift card.

All submissions must be received by JEDI by Aug. 27th, 2014 at 11:59pm Atlantic time. On Aug. 28th, we will put all of the submissions into an album on our Facebook page and people will have 5 days to vote (“Like”) for their favourite. All voting will be completed by Sept 1, 2014 at 11:59pm Atlantic time and the photo or video with the highest number of votes will be the winner.

Each winner will be notified through email or Facebook messaging. Once the winner has been notified, the gift card will be mailed out to the winner or arrangements can be made to pick up the gift card at the JEDI office at 150 Cliffe Street, Fredericton.

Each photo or video is worth one entry into the contest.

By entering your photo or video into the contest, you are granting JEDI permission to use the photo or video and your name for promotional purposes.

By entering your photo or video, you are confirming that you own the rights to the photo or video, and that you have secured consent from any individuals pictured in the photo or included in the video to distribute the photograph or video.

Employees of the Joint Economic Development Initiative, Inc., our Board of Directors, and the immediate families of those groups, are not eligible for this contest.

Prizes cannot be redeemed for cash.
