The New Brunswick Teen Apprentice Program (NBTAP) is an industry led pre-apprentice program open to students starting in Grade 10 or Grade 11. Selected students are coached and mentoredby participating employers during their paid summer work terms.
NBTAP Student Apprentices learn practical trade and workplace skills and get a head start on an exciting career in the skilled trades.
Students who are accepted into the program will begin to learn a skilled trade with a participating NBTAP employer in their local area. Upon completion of the program, successful students will have enough on-the-job training to qualify to write their first Apprenticeship exam.
