JEDI is now accepting applications for 2 bursaries valued at $3500 each for the 31-week Regenerative Farming internship at Hayes Farm. The internship runs from Apr 26 - Nov 26, 2021. This extended program includes the same topics as the summer internship plus:
customer relations,
fall harvest,
storing crops,
winter bed prep,
a holistic farm business planner course and
tailored mentorship.

The Hayes Farm Regenerative Farming Internship is a community-led program, and their mission is to inspire and mobilize New Brunswickers toward a resilient and thriving food system by providing them with the skills, expertise, and support to practice human-scale regenerative agriculture. Their model addresses local food security, financial responsibility, personal and spiritual fulfillment for individuals, and food production in the local community. They do this in the spirit of honouring Indigenous culture and food ways, integrative principles of land-based learning, and reconnection.
Eligibility Requirements:
Must be an Indigenous person residing in New Brunswick
Must be accepted into the Hayes Farm Regenerative Farming Internship program
Application Deadline:
The application for Hayes Farm Regenerative Farming Full Internship is separate from the JEDI bursary application. Both applications must be submitted together to hayesteachingfarm@gmail.com by Mar 26, 2021.
