Elsipogtog is holding their annual Pow Wow this weekend, August 29th – 31st. This is the final Pow Wow of the NB Pow Wow trail and JEDI’s 10th and final POW WOW PHOTO CONTEST!
This is your last chance to enter to win a $25 gift card and your final chance to have your photo entered to win JEDI’S Grand Prize Giveaway valued at $500!
So far JEDI has given away $225 in gift cards to our previous winners and you could be our final winner just by submitting your Pow Wow photos to https://www.facebook.com/JEDINB or contests@jedinb.ca. All photos will be eligible to win the Grand Prize so send yours in before it’s too late. See below for details.
The Grand Prize includes a handmade basket made by local artist Katie Nicholas which contains a 7.9 inch ACER tablet with 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of memory, a gift certificate for $75 worth of Holistic services at Grandmother Bear Holistic Centre, and a $75 gift certificate for the Wolastoq Wharf in Fredericton. This basket and all of its contents have been donated by our sponsor, RBC, a proud supporter of JEDI and the New Brunswick Aboriginal community.
CONTEST DETAILS:
Starting on Aug. 29th, please submit your photos or short videos (maximum of 2 minutes) of the Elsipogtog Pow Wow to JEDI at https://www.facebook.com/JEDINB or contests@jedinb.ca to be entered to win a $25 gift card to a local business.
All submissions must be received by Sept. 3rd, 2014 at 11:59pm Atlantic time. Once we receive all of the submissions for the contest we will put them into an album on our Facebook page and people will have 5 days to vote (“Like”) their favourite. All voting will be completed by Sept. 8th, 2014 at 11:59pm Atlantic time and the photo or video with the highest number of votes will be the winner.
Each winner will be notified through Facebook messaging or email. Once the winner has been notified, the gift card will be mailed out to the winner or arrangements can be made to pick up the gift card at the JEDI office at 150 Cliffe Street, Fredericton.
Each photo or video is worth one entry into the contest.
By entering your photo or video into the contest, you are granting JEDI permission to use the photo or video and your name for promotional purposes.
By entering your photo or video, you are confirming that you own the rights to the photo or video, and that you have secured consent from any individuals pictured in the photo or included in the video to distribute the photograph or video.
Employees of the Joint Economic Development Initiative, Inc., our Board of Directors, and the immediate families of those groups, are not eligible for this contest.
Prizes cannot be redeemed for cash.
In September, JEDI will award a Grand Prize valued at $500 to one of the submissions received during any of the 10 contests. Stay tuned to the blog and JEDI’s Facebook page for details of the final draw.
