Join JEDI for Lunch, Golf and our Next Plenary

The Joint Economic Development Initiative (JEDI) is pleased to announce our Luncheon and inaugural Golf Tournament taking place on Sept. 30th, 2014 and our Fall Plenary taking place on Oct. 1st, 2014.

On Sept. 30th, at 11:00am, JEDI will host the Honouring Partnerships Luncheon at the Riverside Resort and Conference Centre in Kingsclear, NB. This luncheon will feature the release of the New Brunswick Aboriginal Shipbuilding Engagement Strategy and will be followed by the inaugural JEDI Golf Tournament at the Mactaquac Golf Course starting at 1pm.

Both events will promote partnerships between Aboriginal communities, Aboriginal organizations and the private sector. The Golf Tournament will feature prizes, networking, a barbeque and a silent auction; it promises to be lots of fun for those in attendance.

JEDI also invites you to attend our Plenary on Oct 1st starting at 10:00am at the Delta Fredericton. The theme of the Plenary is Moving Forward Together: Strategic Partnerships to Advance Aboriginal Economic Development.

The Plenary will feature a keynote presentation by Phil Fontaine where he will explore how industry and Aboriginal communities can form more strategic economic development partnerships that support the changing interpretation of Aboriginal rights and title in Canada by the Supreme Court of Canada. This event will also include a fireside chat, tradeshow and networking.
