JEDI is looking for new or gently-used books for kids ages 11-14!
If you are in the Fredericton area, you may have heard that Devon Middle School had a pipe burst above the library’s ceiling on New Year’s Day. Due to this unfortunate occurrence, the school has lost all of their library books.
Many children in our community use this library and we would like to help Devon Middle School get their school library up and running again.
So if you have any new or gently-used books, comics, graphic novels, etc. that would be suitable for kids in grades 6-8 (ages 11-14), please drop them off directly at the school during school hours (681 Dobie Street, Fredericton, NB).
OR at JEDI’s office at 150 Cliffe Street (2nd floor), Fredericton between 8:30am and 4:30pm. JEDI will be collecting books until January 23rd so please drop them off before then. If you are local to Fredericton and want to make a donation but cannot drop them off, please call 444-5650.
If you would prefer to make a financial donation, you can do so by dropping a cash donation off at the school or doing so online at http://www.gofundme.com/DevonMiddleLibrary.
Thanks in advance for helping the kids in our community!
