JEDI’s NBAMET and NBAICT Programs are currently offering, for a limited time, Business Development Fund programs. The Business Development Fund programs have been established to help enable Aboriginal entrepreneurs in New Brunswick to access training and support opportunities that will help them grow their businesses. Aboriginal entrepreneurs and business owners operating in the following sectors:
- Mining,
- Energy,
- Trades
- Information Communications Technology
are encouraged to complete and submit the application form (see below) for the funds, along with a strong rationale for how their proposed project will grow their business. General grants are available for up to…
- Information Communications Technology (NBAICT) - $1500/entrepreneur
- Mining, Energy and Trades (NBAMET) - $2000/entrepreneur
Once your application is received, JEDI will review it and follow up with you within 2 weeks. Applications will be assessed on the merits of the project’s impact on the applicant’s business and overall contribution toward Aboriginal participation in New Brunswick’s economy. Please note that this funding cannot be used towards the purchase of equipment.
Deadline for applications is December 31, 2015.
