JEDI would like to invite New Brunswick Aboriginal Entrepreneurs to take part in our Plenary on February 23 – 24. The Plenary is entitled 'First Nations Open for Business' and it will explore how more investment can be made in Aboriginal communities, entrepreneurs and youth.
Day 1 will be a fantastic opportunity for entrepreneurs to participate in workshops like:
- Aboriginal Business Funding
- Building Your Brand
- Aboriginal Labour Market Information
- Procurement
For a preview of the complete plenary agenda, please click here: http://blog.jedinb.ca/february-2015-plenary-agenda/.
Day 1 will also include a networking reception at the Venn centre that will feature artist Natalie Sappier live painting and several Aboriginal musicians and dancers.
Day 2 is another great day for entrepreneurs, featuring our two speakers: Dwayne Ward and Gabrielle Scrimshaw. After our speakers, JEDI will host a panel of Aboriginal Entrepreneurs who will provide insight into their own businesses by sharing what has worked for them and advice for other Aboriginal entrepreneurs.
