Two $1000 Bursaries Available to Indigenous Post-Secondary Students

JEDI and Brun-Way Highway Operations are pleased to announce that for the 8th year, we will be offering two bursaries valued at $1000 each to Indigenous Students who are currently enrolled in post-secondary education.

This partnership has provided over $14,000 to Indigenous post-secondary students in New Brunswick over the past 7 years and JEDI looks forward to the continued partnership with Brun-Way Highway Operations for many years to come. 

To apply for one of the $1000 bursaries, you must:

  • Be a full-time Indigenous student;
  • Reside in New Brunswick;
  • Provide proof of Indigenous status;
  • Provide proof of studies at a post-secondary institution;
  • Provide a current resume;

Write a 500-1000 word essay describing your need, future goals and aspirations, volunteer work, your commitment to education, and your desire to help NB First Nations communities thrive.

Submit the completed application form along with essay, proof of studies, proof of Indigenous status and resume to the JEDI office by November 30, 2017. Applications can be submitted:

  • in person;
  • by mail;
  • by fax at 506-444-3387;
