How Startup Weekend works:
- Anyone can come to pitch their startup idea and receive feedback.
- Teams pick their favourite ideas and begin 2.5-days of business model creation, solution design and development, and market validation.
- Finished solutions are presented on Sunday in front of local entrepreneurial leaders.
The focus of this Startup Weekend is SOCIAL CHANGE. The City of Fredericton is partnering with this event and will be presenting a list of challenges that they are working on as part of their “Digital Fredericton” initiative. These challenges will help you figure out how to effect real change in your community.
