SCNB is a not-for-profit organization that provides New Brunswick youth with opportunities to explore skilled trades and technologies, discover their passions, and strive for excellence.
The SCNB Provincial Competition will introduce youth to the potential career opportunities within the many different skilled trades and technologies sectors. This will be done through a “try-a-trade approach” where youth can test out their skills at select trade show booths as well as interact with skilled experts working in these booths. Youth will also be able to watch experienced tradespeople show off their skills in the provincial competition.
Attendees will have the chance to be a part of a one-of-a-kind experience. This is a great opportunity for youth to gain exposure and knowledge about the trades world – you don’t want to miss out!
The event will be held on April 12th from 8:30-4:30 at NBCC Saint John (950 Grandview Avenue, Saint John, NB).
All interested Indigenous youth or their parents should contact Erica Craft at erica.craft@jedinb.ca to register and find out about lunch and travel support. Parents will be asked to provide transportation for their child.
