JEDI is excited to announce the Grand Prize Winner of the 2015 Pow Wow Photo contests: Kimberly DeMerchant!
Thanks to everyone who entered JEDI's Pow Wow photo contests this summer! We received 185 contest entries from all 10 Pow Wow photo contests this year, more than double the amount of submissions from 2014.
Our grand prize winner, Kimberly DeMerchant submitted 6 photos to JEDI’s Kingsclear Pow Wow photo contest and her name was randomly drawn from all 185 contest entries. For full contest details and to see all of the winning photos from each of the 10 individual Pow Wow photos contests, please visit http://blog.jedinb.ca/contests/.
The GRAND PRIZE includes a handmade bag made by local artist April Paul which contains a Samsung Galaxy Tab3 Lite 7" 8GB Android Tablet, a handmade drum made by local artist Julie Paul, a $60 gift certificate for the Wolastoq Wharf in Fredericton, and 2 mounted prints by artists Pauline Young and Phillip Young.
The grand prize package, worth $500, was generously donated by the RBC Royal Eagles again this year. RBC is an avid supporter of JEDI, Aboriginal people and Aboriginal organizations across Canada. Jennifer MacEachern, Branch Manager of RBC at Brookside Mall in Fredericton, came into the JEDI office recently to assist our CEO, Lynn Poole-Hughes, with the draw.
Kimberly will be presented with her prize at JEDI’s office on November 3rd in Fredericton.
